The medium backbender can be used in several different ways. It can be used on its own with a height of approximately 23cm, or if used in conjunction with its base it gives an overall height of approximately 33cm. There are handholds drilled in the base to assist with deep backward bends.

Alternatively, the medium backbender has been specifically designed to be used in conjunction with Halasana stools, with or without the base being in place.
